SisyWAG - And Significant the OtherIt

Should take their broomsticks south - beyound the Northern US storms and lack of light....somewhere, as we post the soltice...somewhere...far from the darkness and into the LIGHT.

This is truly MudCat - extream - clone control.

This message was posted into another thread...and the clones twisted....through a cyclone of MC/Max/Joe vortexs into a thread that has little sense.

Sincerely,
Gargoyle

Just when I think I have a "gottcha" they twist my knickers into a knot.

When is it? Well, it's coming up, that's when it is. In about 20 days or so. Or maybe that's my brother's birthday. But it's definitely coming up, yup. I think maybe it's December 24th this year.

Incidently, according to my calendar the Irish Republic have a Hallowe'en (presumably bank) holiday on Tuesday 25th October - any reason for this not to take place oni.e., the 31st of October?

I can't even reconcile it with the Old Calendar.

Steve

Hello Gargoyle.

My Halloween decorations are superb this year. I have an 10 foot tall Arnold Shwarzenegger as a seated Frankenstein with a 3 1/2 ft. George Bush sitting on his lap smiling up at Arnold. W is holding a map of Our-aq(shaped like Texas) in one hand and the other has a whip. Arnold is holding a huge sword with "girlie men" written on one side and "gay marriage" on the other.
Off to the side there is a full size chrome skeleton terminator robot dressed in a chrome helmet and an aluminized fireman's high temp suit.
I already have a series of haunted houses and castle outside along with a submerged New Orleans illuminated by an underwater light.
If you think I am kidding, come by and look or stay tuned for pictures.

This neighborhood had lots of decorations last year that included lynchings and tombstones. Mine should make an interesting departure from the ordinary.

Halloween is on a school night, that's what the kids want to know about. My 13-year-old isn't entirely reconciled to the idea that he's too big to go trick-or-treating, but he didn't go last year and won't go this year. Same rule applied to my daughter when she was his age. She has managed to find a few friends to have a party with as compensation. Maybe he will also. Most likely, I'll have him dress in some kind of costume he can pull together and he can answer the door and give the neighborhood kids candy.
