Cheers, Joy Greetings All, This weeks 'Hindsight' programme on ABC Radio National at 2pm Sunday 9th will feature traditional songs and stories of bushranger Ben Hall. Entitled 'The Streets of Forbes" the programme looks at the legend of Hall and the two streams of history - written and oral (folklore). Bathurst based band 'Collector' perform most of the songs along with grabs from traditional singer Sally Sloane and others. The programme is based on Oral History recordings we have made for The National Library of Australia. |
