I heard this song about knowing you're pregnant becuase your apron strings were getting tight, at the Old Songs festival, sung by Allistair Brown. Seemed to be called "Wee Bit Scant in Me Apron." I can't find it on line anywhere, he hasn't replied to my e-mail messages, and I didn't see on any of his recordings. Any idea where I could get my hands on it? Thanks! |

And I did check the DT first, of course--not a whisper, which I found very strange. In this one, "wee bit scant in me apron" was the end of the last line of the refrain. |

And if you looked at the one I linked to in the DT, just how different / similar do you think the lyrics are? To know that might help. |
