Eventually, what we truly love about a place is drowned out in one way or the other. It seems a common thread in folk music (singer/songwriter branch). What are your favorites of the genre? Two that come to mind for me are The OLD ROSE AND CROWN by Ian Robb and THE OLD TRAIL by Steve Gillette and Charles John Quarto. Enjoy the songs!!! Roger in Baltimore |

One that came to mind first for me was COMING OF THE ROADS, which has the title listed as "Roads" in the database. I suppose the best-known recording of the song is by Judy collins. Peter, Paul & Mary did a rather nice job on it (in the plural) on their 1990 album, Flowers and Stones. -Joe Offer- |
