When I saw the post--before clicking the thingy--my first thoughts were, "Viagra could help."

I'll talk to you all later.
I'm going outside to shove some bumblebees up my ass and see if I can fly.

Did it work, Cluin?

And did the bees survive?

But it is all true - the author lives next door and says it is true. I'm going to bed before I become invisible.

Why must you always be so skeptical; just because it isn't true for you, doesn't mean it isn't true for someone else.

Frogprince, "skeptical" means "refusing to believe without evidence". Not evidence of why (FWIW, acupuncture still hasn't got that), but just evidence that it *does*.

As far as this mythical Russian's encounters with the "High Priests" of science, I call bullshit. For starters, any sane person would realise how many cranks there are. You want to show off something extraordinary, you'd better do it in person. And for another thing, why go to scientists? This isn't like it needs some special scientific skills - any munchkin can see you flying, so any journalist would do just fine. And James Randi famously will pay $1m to anyone who could do that.

FWIW, I'm tempted to set up the folded-paper experiment as described, just to disprove it. See if I can find some free time.

Graham.

I was lying awake every night for the past week wondering about The Natural Phenomena of AntiGravitation and Invisibility in Insects
due to the Grebennikov Cavity Structure Effect (CSE)!
Thanks for clearing that up.   Now if I could just figure out how they keep Shat's toupe on during the filming of the tricky lawyer show.
