BS: Energy Policy-Gate Heatin' up...

Just when things 'round the Bush administartion look as if they can't get any worse, another of 1st term scandals looks as if it has dug its way right out of the grave where the Bushites thought it would stay forever...

Remember the infamous "Energy Task Force" that was organized under Dick Cheney??? Remember the Dems and the press askin' fir details about who was involved??? Remember Cheney's response??? Well, seems as if "Go f*ck yerself", while becoming Cheney's M.O, hasn't stopped the Washington Post from coming into posession of a document that sheds ight on some of those involved with the task force...

But before I tell you all who they are I'd just like to ask if anyone remembers the congressional hearings of last week where the CEO's of ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Shell Oil and BPAmerican all said they weren't part of that task force???

Well, according to this document that the Rost claims to posess, would anyone like to take a wild guess who some of the participants of the task force were???

T-Gate? GUEST A? BB? Old Guy? Any of you all have a clue???

Hmmmmmm?

Well, according to this doucument, among others on the task force were all the gentlemen who were mentioned above who just last week testified before a joint hearing last week of the Seante Energy and Commerace committees....

Hmmmmmm?

Yep, Jesus hit the nail on the head when He told Matthew that there are no secrets that one day won't be common knowledge...

"Oh, when will they ever learn..."

Does nothing good happen in your life which encourages you to seek out matters that you consider negative?

It's nice to know the media is growing a little backbone. It's there job & duty to stay with a story that effects us all. The public has been suspect about this meeting since jump street & we have a right to know who did what, but the government has refused any statements about how our national energy policy came to be what it now is. The whole country has to live with this policy & to shut out the nation without explanation has a ring of Patrick Henry's fiery revolutionary battle cry "taxation without representation". This is not a little pissy matter how this government continues to operate in this cloak & dagger fashion keeping the public in the dark & not acting in the interest of its general public. I for one considerate this administration guilty of treason, there's no trust anymore just a blinding "follow me anywhere" patriotic duty where we don't count, we're being we are on a "we don't need to know" basis & a trust me our else you are an enemy mode. This is not a democracy at least not one that I was supposed to believe in. Call it what you want, I call it a pattern of deceit that's continuous & constant & that every media source should, as a moral obligation to our nation, be publishing these stories, along with other matters of importance, until both the public & the government stands up to take notice.

It is better to SEE than to avert your eyes. It is better to KNOW than to say No, I don't want to hear it.

Guest:

If you knew what a rich and gifted life our Bobert leads, you would withdraw your remarks and apologize. Slashing about in ignorance like that is not something you would want your mother to see you doing.

Well, thankee fir them kind words... Too bad that Guest isn't like, ahhh, a real person who would be willing to compare the very positive things going on in my life compared to perhaps his miswerable little Bush apologist life... Hey, not that all Bush apologists have boring little lives but seems the one's I've met in person, perhaps with the exception of BB, aren't the kinds of people who are terribly connected with their neighbors and tyheir community....

But, Guest, though I don't owe you any further response, if you can Google yer way to the "Page News and Courier" (Luray, Va.) and find a front page article entitled "Main Street Believer" in (Vol 138, No. 35) which came out either September 6th of this year, you might get a glimpse in just how prejudical yer above remark was...

Peace
