17 Nov 05 - 05:14 AM (#1607073) Subject: Anyone want to run a folk club?? From: GUEST,Peter Uxbridge Folk Club (West London) is in urgent need of some help. The club has been going for 40 years, and after a very quiet period is just starting to get going again - we have a great programme of fully funded concerts and guest artists - click on the link below... Unfortunately, Glen Johnston, who currently runs the club, has to stop in the next few weeks - leaving the club, and the weekly sessions, without a leader. All efforts at persuasion and blackmail have failed to persuade current members to take over the responsibility, so If you live anywhere near and would like to take over a club with some cash and loads of potential - please get in touch! http://www.communigate.co.uk/london/uxbridgefolk/index.phtml |
