We all had another brilliant evening ofdance and song and several entertaning fund raising schemes. We again got Jez Bloomer to come from Warwick to join in with the Band. Many thanks to him. Samantha Barnard sang us a couple of songs, lovely job Sam, Well Done. Ness and Fergus Pateman came up from Kings Lynn, just to come and join in the fun. Thanks must go to Pam Cook for sorting the hall (at no cost). To Rosie for squeezing raffle prizes out of some of the local traders, (many thanks to them) and to another Rosie and her mum Julia Pollock for making individual cakes that were sold during the evening. Very well done to you all. Several other individuals and my employers EDF Energy also donated raffle prizes, some only being known about at the event, thanks to you all to. Thanks to Julia and the ROOTS TO MUSIC team for the pair of tickets to their christmas concert with Mambo-Jambo. (dec 18th @ The Priory in Scunthorpe). http://www.rootstomusic.co.uk/ Now the really important bit, We raised over £860, and that is before we call in on some of the promised donations that we have NOT YET received. Many thanks to the paying participants for their generosity. Villan you missed the Reindeer Dance, you also missed a bloody good nights entertainment. To my friends in Rosianna, (Alvina, Eamon, Dave who was ill and couldn't make it, Tutti-Flutey, Banjo Flower, and guest Jez Bloomer) We did it!!! and we will probably do it again next year, Well Done, you ARE the best.
