"People should feel comfortable about expressing their opinions about Iraq," Bush said, three days after agreeing with Vice President Dick Cheney that the critics were "reprehensible."' Just the other day I said to the folks at the Legion Hovel, "Boy, I'm losing sleep over the my criticism of the war in Iraq." And Sleepy said to me, "Me too. An' I just got back from there." So I'm glad that the Prez has said that it's okay to criticize the Iraq thing. I certainly wouldn't want the Prez to think I was unpatriotic, no sirree. |
