From: Dave'sWife There is a lovely recording of this by his daughter Roseanne Cash on the KINDRED SPIRITS Johnny Cash Tribute CD. Her version is quite touching. She sang a nearly identical version at his memorial which was televised here in the US. There are some other wonderful covers on that CD: Hardin wouldn't run - Steve Earle (you'd believe Earle wrote it himself or that Johnny wrote it knowing he;d sing it someday) Flesh & Blood - Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow, Mary Chapin Carpenter Give my love to Rose - Bruce Springsteen Train of Love - Bob Dylan Those are my faves from that CD. |
