It reports a True and even Historical event, a happy one in which the good honest country people prevailed against the evil Crown agents in the person of a company of heavily armed gaugers (ie British revenooers) assisted by soldiers.

12/21/04: President GW Bush signed into law the designation of the United States Postal Service located in Rosine, Kentucky, as the "Bill Monroe Post Office."
