Anybody know a P-K engineer who can help me get the chair up to vertical? Yes I know it's not exactly folk related but it is New Years Eve and I know some folks enjoy a real challenge. |

Not entirley, but it always seems to be one notch down from vertical. Now their is a metaphore if ever I saw one. Are P-Ks made in the UK anymore? |

01 Jan 06 - 09:55 AM (#1638740) Subject: RE: The backs gone on me Parker-Knoll From: Jeanie Sorry, Les, I wasn't making light of the problem, just having a bit of musical fun (as this *is* in the music section). I've just typed "Parker-Knoll" into Google and found that they are still making the furniture. If you then type in a sub-search "repairs", you will find lots of companies who specifically state that they repair Parker-Knolls, including the frames. There was a company in Staffordshire, for instance, called "Imperial Upholstery". I'm sure you will find a repairer near to where you live if you do a bit of googling. All the best, - jeanie |

You can visit Parker Knoll's website and contact them for upholsters in your area here: PK website I LOVE my PK chairs. One of the first things I bought when I moved across to Maine. Nothing better than to sit inmy Fav Chair and play a tune. We always had them at me Ma's and the chairs and Sofa were re sprung and covered many times over the Years by my Uncle, Sonny (who just happened to be....an Upholsterer!) Hope you get your PK back in shape soon:>) The PK shanties are shaping up too...lol Jude |
