You guys seem to know a lot. Very early Jerry Jeff Walker song had a line, went something like, "I think I done gone and lost my sense of humor" Maybe from Up Against the Wall, Red Neck ....or was there an oldie about a Junk Yard? (I know, there's always an oldie about a junk yard). I know I was listening to this around 1980-81. Help?

Up Against The Wall, Red Kneck Mothers I think was off an album called Viva Terlinga that was out in the mid to late mid 70's. Good album, odd song.

Anyone who attended college in Oklahoma [or was it a tavern?] (late 70s and early 80s) would drop everything to join in the chorus to Redneck Mother. This was quite the theme song for Okies...after, of course, "Okie from Muskogee."
