In many folk societies Grandmother has a special relationship to grandchildren, especially to grandson. Unique. Sometimes play-sexual, sometimes motherly, sometimes financial (see the complex relationships created in some Australian Aborigine traditions). But, as we've been reminded, Grannie, nobody should shove you off a bus. You might take some comfort in that. |
