Tech: Trouble accessing tripod & cafepress?

Sorry, just deleted all of my cookies, hoped that was the problem.

Anyone know of any problems going on internet-wise which are causing problems accesssing Lycos' tripod.com and/or cafepress.com? Everytime I try to get to them, today, I get a timed out message. I do not have them blocked by my firewall and I've had no trouble getting into them prior to today.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

kat

Got into cafepress right off. Am trying tripod.com as we speak and it is going to time out. It didn't, but it wouldn't load. FYI

I just accessed Tripod.com. even denying it cookie setting...maybe it is a local router thing

Kat
I just tried them and got onto the home pages of each one. Didn't go any further though.
Hope that helps a bit
Les

Thanks, fellahs. BillD must have it right, as I can get into several other, regular sites, including Mudcat obviously, but not those two, darn it!

Anything I can do about a local router, besides call my IP?

Thanks,

kat

Found out what the problem was. Seems a train derailed about two hours up the road and it sliced the fiber-optic lines for IPs. Seems to be better, now. Thanks, guys!
