01 Feb 06 - 04:05 PM (#1659416) Subject: RE: Steve Tilston gigs - early 2006 From: Barry Finn How about letting go of him for a bit. Could use a bit of him here in the Nor East,,, New England. Caught him a few yrs back at Old Songs festival he was fantastic. Walked in after he started sat down & loved it. Then spied what I thought was a familar back of the head blonde in the front row. Jesus, it was my daughter listening to a folk singer, all on her lonesome & loving it (she only came to play with the other young teens). She has since learned, thought she won't sing it on her own (not to me antway) Slip, Jigs & Reels. I knew that girl had great taste. So, give him up, just for a little bit. |

24 Feb 06 - 08:32 AM (#1677599) Subject: RE: Steve Tilston gigs - early 2006 From: Bonnie Shaljean Is there any way to get a CD (or even tape) of his Fellside album "Solorubato" ? It's listed on his website but doesn't seem to be for sale anywhere, and I suspect it's languishing in vinyl limbo. He is a GREAT talent. |
