Not a lot Friday and Saturday , unless there is a concert at Windsor Arts Centre - I would offer a lift to The Tap in Brentford , for Friday but I am working both days .

Tend to agree with LF. Not much around on a Friday/Saturday. Strange that.
However I have found one interesting possibilty for Saturday, but it isn't a singers night. The place might be a problem if Denise is with you as its upstairs.

The Cellar Upstairs Folk Club
The club meets on Saturdays at 8.15pm at the Exmouth Arms, Starcross Street, London NW1 1HR (on the corner of Cobourg Street, near Euston and Euston Square stations).

The club room is up a short staircase; wheelchair users have to be carried.
Entrance: £5 (unwaged £4).
Information: 020 7281 7700.
With the introduction of the new licensing act you no longer have to be a member to attend the club.

January 28th: Chris Coe and John Adams great singing and musicianship on a variety of instruments;songs including wonderful ballads; possibly clog dancing

I think you can get a fast train to Euston from Slough

It might be better than sitting around picking yer nose M8 :-) If you give em a ring, maybe they would let you be the support act!!!!!!!

I think everyone thinks we are all having such a good time on Friday and Saturday nights that we don't need folk clubs!
Oxford Folk Club is on a Friday night, they appear to have Mick Ryan and Pete Harris this week:

You could check out the Herschel Arms in Slough, but they usually have music on Sundays and Mondays. But you never know, they might have something special on.

Good luck
Helen

Court Sessions in Tooting, S. London is on a Friday - usually has good guests, but as I live in Devon , I wouldn't know what's on.

Readifolk at Clifton ASrms Caversham on Sundays.
Bracknell folk club is on a Wednesday (but not every week I think) at South Hill Park. You could have gone to the monthly blues night at South Hill Park Cellar Bar on Saturday (TJ "Axeman" Johnson & Sam Kelly) - we would have been there but Herself had a stinking cold & it's smoky so we stayed at home with the CDs!
