Hi Art. I notice you have been posting without your cookie a lot lately. Are you able to retrieve your personal messages these days? I sent you one a while back and I don't know whether or not you got it.

Carol, I am in libbo here at Mudcat--or so it seems. Mudcat's computers see me as a valid signed-in member and tell me I have a bunch of personal messages backed up. When I try to see those, I am told I am not a member and can't do that. When I post here in the threads, I am said to be a GUEST. I've been told to log out, and then in again--which I have done a bunch of times trying to make things right. But that won't correct stuff it seems. Try me at folkart@ivnet.com

Arthur

I also can't get in to see the photos of Mudcatters or view and participate in other perks of membership.

Thanks Art!

Have you tried clearing your cookie cache and then trying to sign back on a gain?

Got to sign in before you can de-cache I think.

You can clear your cache of cookies anytime, but I think you might prefer to go into the cache and delete those related to Mudcat. Also clear your history. Once those are erased, it should work for you to sign in as a member unless your records in the User database are corrupted in some way,.

I've cleared out all that stuff. Still, can't unjoin or join. I'm told I'm unjoined or have just joined. But am still a guest without privileges...

Just ask Jeff and I am sure all will be taken care of quicker that you can say

... "THAN you can say" Of course, that's what I meant to say. Then again, if I had actually said what I meant to say, it wouldn't have taken... ah...

Just ask Jeff.

Download a free copy of Disk Washer by AE Software Technologies .. run it on a regular basis ... cleans a lot of loose junk on your system such as cache, history. It's more efficient than your Internet Explorer cleanup.
