Indeed, these folks are hecka-talented... this is my favorite show of our whole four-month Tavern season. Charley: We have shows every Saturday night at the Tavern from January through April. The acts vary... last week was the Johnson Girls (one of whom ---Alison Kelley---will be performing with the crew this Saturday), and next week is Linda Russell. There are a number of recordings by The Young Tradition, of which Heather Wood was a member, and these are also available from Camsco, though they are not primarily sea music. Heather was also a member of Poor Old Horse, which did do a lot of sea music, and whose CD is available through Camsco or Folk-Legacy. Not sure about the others. Nancy |

Saturday 2/4/06 From: Barry Finn Along with the above mentioned (Hi Nancy) you can also hear Alison (of the NexTradition), who's also with the Johnson Girls on any of their CD's David Klieman you can hear on a CD titled Watersign with his group Watersign. I sure you can hear David elsewhere but I don't know where at the moment. Bob Conray you can hear with Dan Milner (Liam's Brother) on the CD's "Irish in America" & "Irish Ballads & Songs of the Sea" (Frank Woerner & Jan Christensen are part of the chours). Both on Folk-Legacy & also available at Camsco I think Compass Rouges has a CD but maybe someone else should say for sure. If you google Heather Wood, you'll come up with a world of info (all good & interesting). I think she has a web site, you can probably find out there where she's been recorded (long list I'm sure) Barry |

I'll just add that one of David Kleiman's other outfits is called "Omnia", and they performed at the Tavern this year. Also, another of Bob Conroy's bands is the wonderful "Stout", and they will be performing at the Tavern in April.
