Yes, it is difficult for the President to talk about those last 18 months of his service but I will. He was assigned to a highly secret Special Forces unit in Vietnam to fly a captured MIG fighter into Hanoi, make his way to a hospital where I was being held captive, kill several North Vietnames regulars who were guarding me, carry me on his own back 2 miles back to the airfeild and fly my to safety, landing on an aircraft a carrier somewhere off the shores of South Vietnam. I cannot give my name here because of the classified nature of the mission and because of national security issues but you can take it to the bank that this occured.
