BS: UK possible fuel savings, Pipeline Card

Just wondered if anyone had first hand knowledge of this site: Pipeline Card where possible savings of 5-10p per litre could be made at the pumps of a major petrol station chain in the future.

I've searched & found a few reviews & it all looks fairly safe to register. What do you think? It does say 'tell your friends'....

Featured on breakfast television recently and apparently the way to go. Thanks for the link. Best wishes, Mike.

I have one petrol station within a 10 mile radius so no choice of prices, and they only sell diesel or regular petrol!
Freedom of choice is an alien concept out in the country!!

You're right about that, Giok. The farther away you get from the Interstates (Motorways) here the higher the prices. Go to someplace like Dingle (Idaho, not Kerry) and you might be confronted with one station -- and if you want/need petrol (or anything else) you'll pay what they charge.

Now -- sometimes around here you'll find lower prices in the country! That's because the prices don't go up until a new shipment arrives. Not often, mind you, but I've seen it happen.

Thanks for that site Morti! I registered & confirmed my local knowledge, but it may be useful when I'm out & about.

I decided to register with Pipeline, let's see what happens. Anyone else gonna try it?
