10 Feb 06 - 10:57 AM (#1666057) Subject: Franchise owner death From: GUEST,Angela Douglas A famous transsexual, 62, was brutally beaten in July 04 at a MacDonald's in marianna, FL, by one of five men objecting loudly to same sex marriage, Leroy Mobley. Douglas was hit in the face and head a dozen times with his fists. Employees gigled and about 30 people did nothing. Douglas managed to escape and went to police, but they said the judge wouldn't do anything, refused to record it as a hate crime and dissuaded DEouglas from having Mobley arrested. Franchise owners Abby and John Biggers refused to do anything, became threatening and banned Douglas, who then threatened to sue them and MaCdonald's. The Biggers either sold or lost their franchise and no longer have it here. Douglas then called a boycott of all macDonald's on the web in late July 04. Mother Nature re4sponded, destroying hundreds from Sept. 04 with hurriances in Florida, other states, and a tornado spun off by Ivan caused millions in damage to marianna and almost hit the police station and where Mobley lives. "The strange death of the franchise owner in Washington state could be related in some way," Douglas said. Raised in, served in the USAF, Douglas was also a singer guita5rist with rock bands from 57 to 67, knew Hendrix, Zappa, Zevon in Sixties LA< is in the Peter Fonda film The Trip and founded the first of dozens of bands named Euphoria. In 69, Douglas began a sex change, got famous as an alternative press writyer, created a transsexual rights group and publicly allied it with ETS against all enemies in 1974. Douglas had sex change suregery in 77, then fell into war with Hollywood, which has mauled material from Douglas' life story for dozens of ilms, TV such as Iron Eagle. In 87, Douglas sued ABC< MCA< Tri Star in Frisco, lost, thumbed to Florida, and under fierce attack, won a $232,567 lotto in 91 the same day a UFO crop circle was found nearby, in 98, began perofrming again with a rock band and got a CD out in 03, COsmo Alley, as Last Drop Douglas. 10 Feb 06 - 02:43 PM (#1666274) Subject: RE: Franchise owner death From: Bee-dubya-ell I live in west Florida, just two hours away from Marianna. I've had a couple of memorable experiences there, but never any good ones. In fact, I don't know anyone who's ever had a good experience in Marianna. Why should a 62 year-old transexual be exempt from what seems to be a cosmic law? |
