Well, I am going to get a drink, sit down, put my feet up...in front of the Television and watch a good film. Maybe I will fall asleep and wake up in time for bed but there ya go. What are you settling down to tonight?
Best wishes, Mike.

We are going out to dinner with some friends and it is the first night in several weeks that I either wasn't performing at the theatre, playing music or rehearsing for something that required several hours of playing bass and or keeping the guitar player from snapping at the female vocalist, or arguing with the drummer over the tempo of a bosa nova for a show we are doing tomorrow night. I tell you it is hard enough to tackle 30 new songs on the bass not to mention being the peacemaker between warring factions in a combo, so, I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD to a quiet, non-controversial evening.

I'll settle in with my son and together we will read another chapter or two of "Clan of the Cave Bear."

SINSULL came round, bringing dinner with her. We've had a couple of glasses of wine, watched one of the worst horror films I've ever seen (The Maze) and then really got on Kendall's nerves when I found the Everly Brothers Original Hits and, to add insult to injury, sang along to the tracks.

Great evening!

Last night ? I settled down to a decidedly UNsettling film I had recorded from the TV over Christmas and hadn't had time to watch until now: Unsettling but a really good thriller, "Dead Again", with a reincarnation theme, starring Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson, the finale being Derek Jaobi meeting a decidedly sticky (and pointy) end. I will never look at a pair of scissors the same again. Eeeek (hide behind the cushions !)
