17 Feb 06 - 08:22 PM (#1671556) Subject: BS: Bribery Hits New Low In Floribama! From: Bee-dubya-ell A middle school physical education teacher who taught in my back yard, so to speak, has been arrested on multiple counts of accepting one-dollar bribes from students in exchange for them being allowed to skip dressing out for gym class. (News story HERE) This particular yardbird taught in the next county west of where I live, in the same school in which the fiddler in our sometimes band used to be guidance counselor. Go figure. By the way, when I went looking for a link to this story to post here I was expecting to only find it on the Pensacola News Journal's website. I found that the story has been picked up by a wire service and is on the sites of about 300 national and international online news sources. Go figure again. |
