Where the players come from does not matter, but they have to be of a reasonable standard.The music can be accompanied but the concertina must be slightly dominant.We will be looking for new recordings from artists but I will discuss this when I make contact. He will be toiring the UK later this year Dave Brannagan has posted here in the past as a guest (Branno), specially on the 60's Oz albums thread. I don't have his email address, but can contact him thru a friend if you want. Bob Bolton is on holidays & no doubt would have lots of contacts, but he is out of email contact in the wilds of Tasmania for about a month. Being shockingly ignorant I dunno what type/s of concertina my good friend Bob plays! but I do know that Bush Music Club, of which Bob is Editor & Vice Pres & I'm Secretary) is full of traditional concertina players. sandra |
