Though it is usually played on the Northumbrian pipes, I do remember having heard it sung on at least one occasion (at Ovingham Goose Fair appropriately enough.) Has nothing to do with China Drum. Other than that any ideas? |

Is it modern? i.e. maybe it was written recently just for the Goose Fair? There are some knowledgeable N-pipers on this list and other N-ophiles who may be more familiar than I. |
