One had 2 million in notes in a wheelie bin in his garden. Police became suspicious of the other when a cloud of smouldering bank notes spewed from his chimney and settled over the neighbourhood. Neither was charged because the notes could not be positively linked to the robbery! |

You have just stolen an obscene amount of cash, so much that the sheer bulk of it is a problem, and far more than you can comfortably launder or spend. You take a small portion of it (still a v.large sum) and distribute it to people who do not know you, buy junk off them at stupid prices, even shove a bit through a few letterboxes. It will only take a few of your patsies to draw attention to themselves by trying to use/bank the cash and suddenly the cops are chasing down dozens of false leads, while you walk quietly away with the bulk of the loot. |

You can have all the alarms in the country, but if they give a guy a set of keys to take home it will soon break down. Three of the major banks released annual profits within the last six weeks and they make this robbery look small. It's said money has an International language, and money talks.
