Pub requires a band for St Pat's night

The Red Lion in Newburgh near Wigan, Lancashire is looking for a band to play on St Patrick's night. I know it's a bit late but the Landlord asked me on Monday if I knew anybody. The people I do know have been booked up for months of course!

If anybody is available please contact the pub directly on 01257 462336 and ask for Manuel.

Thanks

Mark

they might only find a salsa band, or cajun or other
non-irish band at this late date! (blues, jazz, reggae?)

I can see him playing CDs on the night. I did tell him he'd be lucky to get someone this close to the event!

Weeeeeeeellll..... Let me call a couple of guys. We pretty much agreed to give amatuer night a pass this year, but, I'll see what can be arranged.

Rates for the performance would be normal going rates - but they'll need to pick up the roundtrip airfare from Michigan and a couple nights lodging...
Guess he may not go for that, eh? ;-)

Pete

Hey Pete! where are you? I'm near Detroit and my band Death By Accordion decided to give up Paddy's Day too. Too many puking youngsters
