Doesn't seem to be very useful that I can see. Is there some trick to it?

So how do you get it to work? No good writing stuff in the search box so far as I could see.

I mispoke. No cookies. It's without some of the featured responses, but it is not tracked and there are no cookies left in your machine. From the link above go to "Google Scraper" (it's near the top on the left) or "Yahoo Scraper" or other links and then enter your term on the following page. It's like what anonymizer does, keeps your search out of logs.
