The Butler Border library has been rehoused in the old Gaol at Hexham.
The collection of folklore, literature,biographies, poetry, history & music of Northumbria will be available to the public for research.

Thank you both for this info, Purple Foxx and Mr Happy. I've been waiting for this collection to re-open for over a year - it's supposed to be a marvellous resource.
