Don't be a h8er. Deny Shatner's greatness at your own peril.

I could care less about Shatner, but it'd take effort....

I've seen the show, and it's crappy

Now, now Clinton, is that your thespian envy showing? Your dislike of this man wouldn't be because he has had more Threads on the Mudcat about him than you have would it? **BG**
Come to think of it, Mr. Shatner has had more threads on the Mudcat than anyone else in the entire universe!( ok not that many but close.)

Best Wishes
Jude

Who will NOT be watching incidently as I am washing my hair:)

That is HERESY. Do they have running water in that barabaric wilderness you call home?

Let me educate you my heathen friend. If you take William Shatner and take out swihatllren and add odg you can rearrange the letters to spell, I AM GOD. On the planet Nubian Prime, William Shatner is translated to Yahwe. And on the planet Verde Caliente in the Mujer system, it is translated as quiero taco bell. Many Shatnerologist think it translates roughly to I am god or something.

So before you start spewing off your pagan drivel, do some research, as in any.

He may not be God, but he is the closest thing to it that can be found in Earthly male form.

How scientific gizmos on Star Trek-TOS are actually coming to pass (one thing I can think of, offhand, is the communicator compared to the cell phone). Sounds pretty interesting to me.

Some time back, I read The Physics of Star Trek by Lawrence M. Krauss. Recently, I saw a show on the latest developments in physics and cosmology, in which an explanation was offer as to how it might be possible to warp space, thereby creating a gravity wave upon which a star ship could "surf" faster than light—without the time-dilation effects, and without running afoul of Einstein's equations, just like they did on Star Trek.

Tomorrow night on the History Channel. Forgive me, but I'm much more interested in the science than I am in William Shatner. I'll be watching.

What are u some sort of flat earther? Can't you see the forest from the trees? The reality is that Shatnerians are here to stay. And rightfully so. Embrace your judeao-Shatner heritage. Why fight what is emminately clear?

I read somewhere where they found that in the dead sea scrolls that the true 10 commandments were actually:

Thou shall honor thy green alien hotty
Thou shall seek out green alien hotties
Thou shall embrace but one god and his name be Shatner
Thou shall not covet thy neighbors green alien hotty
Thou shall not kill green alien hotties
Thou shall not worship false idols (only Shatner idols are permissible)
Thou shall go forthand multiply with green alien hotties
Thou shall not take green alien hotty in vein
Thou shall commit adultry with green alien hotty
Thou shall not steal thy neighbors green alien hotty

Look, the reality is that the original bible was composed of stories by fallable men. If we take the historical text of the region in its entirity then I think you can logically conclude that William Shatner did in fact live in the times of Jesus. Which of course leads us to the uncomfortable reality that William Shatner may in fact be a God. I welcome your thoughtfull response

He's incapable of a thoughtful response, rarelamb. He hasn't had a thoughtful moment since the day he got his little thingie stuck in the shop vac back in ninth grade, and had to be taken to the school nurse to get it removed. The vacuum, that is, not the thingie. Too bad about that!

Just watched it. Quite interesting.

Now, if you children don't play nice, Captain Kirk will take your toy phasers away.

Clinton, you are so rude. It's just terribly upsetting. Terribly. Think of all the people whose feelings you have hurt on this forum! Think about it into the wee hours, do some serious soul-searching (assuming you even have one), and make amends NOW, man! (before it is too late) ;-P
