15 Mar 06 - 05:37 PM (#1694446) Subject: BS: Battle of the sexes From: GUEST,rarelamb I was talking with a coworker about the male roe vs wade thread today and we came upon a side tangent that I would like your collective opinion on. guys hang out with guys gals hang out with gals do one or the other hang out better, if so which and if not then do they hang out with each other equally well? I took one position. Everyone else in our group selected one other and the third option received no votes! |

15 Mar 06 - 06:15 PM (#1694510) Subject: RE: BS: Battle of the sexes From: CarolC I tend to hang out with men more than women, generally, so I guess I can't really answer your question. But I do find that there are some women I hang out better with than others, and those women are just as good to hang out with as men. |

15 Mar 06 - 06:45 PM (#1694550) Subject: RE: BS: Battle of the sexes From: GUEST,rarelamb So people don't think this is a set up ill tell you what I thought. I argued that 'women hang out with women' better and put forward two main arguements. One, in many business publications, at one time or another, an article has been published about how women work better in teams and are better collaborators. Two, the reality is that women do a much better job of keeping in touch with family and friends. None of the men in our group did much in the way of xmas/birthday/holiday cards and all of the married men admitted that their wives handled them. |
