The only number in the world that compares with your budget deficit is your trade deficit.

Both have more Zeroes than the Japanese Air Force.

But note, with the new bankruptcy bill in place, it is Joe and Jane Schmo who get to pay for it all. There are, of course, no safeguards in place to protect us from defaults on the gov's T notes, loans, etc.

But I believe that has always been the evangelical Republican plan. Bankrupt the government by putting all the money in the world into big biz's coffers.

Guess who rules the world? (Hint: it ain't the US government anymore!)

BTW, isn't it time to stop referring to him as The Idiot, and calling him by his real name: The Crook?

Boy, I'm sure glad those tax & spend liberals are out of power and the borrow & spend neo-conservatives are in!

Barry Goldwater must be spinning in his grave....

Aww, well, the Shrub knows we won't be needing that money anyway, what with Armageddon coming any day now.

Kendall's right: 'lucky the liberals are out of power' - if they were in, the debt would be even greater.

There are no liberals in American politics. To find one there would be like looking for an honest man in the Mafia or a Communist in the Nazi Party in 1942.

Considering the numbers, I think "liberal" is probably the right word to use for the fiscal policies of the Bush administration. They sure ain't conservative!

Looks like it's time to vote some real conservatives into office.

Oh, yeah? Like when Bill Clinton was in office, right? It is well known that even though the Republicans say they're for "smaller government" and "fiscal restraint" that they're worse at the trough than the Dems. It didn't take Shrub any time at all to spend the extra cash that "liberal" government had on hand when it left office.
