24 Mar 06 - 05:42 AM (#1701565) Subject: RE: The Doghouse Skiffle Group - Hull From: Hand-Pulled Boy Last night the Doghouse lads had the audience in stitches. It made for a fine opening night for 'Music Exchange' and included a classy opening set from Flamenco Ted who was very warmly received. The atmosphere at this new venue was excellent and end of evening comments suggests that hosts 'harriWattsband' will continue to present these monthly events for the long term. Thanks to all those who attended. The £5 ticket price included a selection of well prepared curries with rice and chips plus great entertainment on stage. Good value in deed. Announcements on next month's event will follow soon on a new thread. PS, look out for the Doghouse Skiffle Group the next time they're in your area. You won't be disappointed. |
