From: GUEST For those who are interested, but couldn't be at DERT in York this weekend, the results are as follows: OPEN CLASS Winner: Thrale's Rapper 2nd place: Triskele Sword 3rd place: Mabel Gubbins PREMIER CLASS Winner: Sallyport 2nd place: Newcastle Kingsmen 3rd place: Stone Monkey OTHER AWARDS Steve Marris Memorial Trophy: Sallyport Tyzack Shield: Newcastle Kingsmen Best Musicians: Newcastle Kingsmen Best Characters: Newcastle Kingsmen Best Youth Team: Sandbeck Sword (aka Maltby Phoenix) Best Display Dance: Beside the Point Most Unusual Location Award went to Valknut for performing at the top of York Minster; Kingsmen were runners-up for a dance performed in the River Ouse. |
