I'm all for folks doing their own thing, freedom of choice etc. but if you sing in a club that allows smoking, even if it is at the far end, away from the performers, you have no choice but to breathe in the second-hand smoke. It really does affect performance. Not to mention the stinking clothes etc. mumble mumble. Good on yer Waltham Abbey |

My club is Non Smoking and it's so nice to come home not stinking of cigarette smoke and coughing & spluttering and much better for the audience and performers. You will really know now when the tears rolling down peoples cheeks are becuase of the song and not the smoke :-) |
