Amanda is kind of terrific -- she was already playing Cajun fiddle as a 9-year-old. Must be about 15 now. She has a great loose oldtime fiddle sound. Her second CD shows a trend toward pop, but she can really cut it on some of the oldtime Cajun songs. As much of the lyric as I have heard her sing follows: LITTLE BLACK DOG By Amanda Shaw and Charles Shaw There's a little black dog outside, There's a little black dog outside, The little boy laughed and the little girl sang, There's a little black dog outside, bow wow wow.
