Actually it's kind of nice, but I don't know who did it and I know only a few of the lines. They go like this: Early in the morning she hitched a ride down to Louisville, Holding onto a hundred bill. He recorded it as a solo artist. I just googled John Phillips and found he released his first solo album Wolfking of L.A. in 1970. This was the album that included "Mississippi". I guess when all else fails I should Google first. Thank you Mick |
