Three gentlemen went a-hunting, and nothing did they find
they came across a haystack and that they left behind
The first one said'it's a haystack' the second one said 'Nay'
The third one said 'it's an elephant - with the trunk all blown away'

Well look at that now, well look at that now
kittty fa-la-fa-la-fa-lay
Kitty fa-la-fa-lay

I do have a few other verses but am after more - can anyone help with more versions please

Chris Wood, Roger Wilson And Martin Carthy recorded (If my memory serves me), Three Jovial Welshmen - In which they came across, amongst the more traditional elements, Patrick Moore. It's on an eponymously titled album.

Cheers all
