Old mate has recently taken on 'The Rising Sun , Stockcross , near Newbury Berks (Just a mile or three off the A34) and is having an all day session on St Georges Day (Next Sunday , the 23rd of April)
I fully intend to be down there at Midday , and thought it might not be a bad idea to put the word out for any on who isn't already committed to being elsewhere ! The Beer is good and its a pleasant pub in a pleasant village !

It was a very pleasant day - Enough 'good' musiciasns to make it interesting , though perhaps not as many as the Landlord might have liked . But they have only been in the pub a short time , and are building up the clientele .
