If Uk, try the Hyde Folk Club
http://www.freewebs.com/hydefolk/
or Folk on the Moor
http://www.moorfolk.plus.com/index.htm
(bit of a step out of town, but great club and venue.

Cat, you are always welcome in Cornwall. Come over to the Fox and HOunds at Bridestowe [just north of Tavistock] on 12, 13, 14 May for the weekend sing, you can commute from Plymouth if you don't want to camp. and you'll meet local and not so local catters.

Not so local catters can be called scatters.
