Will we be able to hear a horse sing and have you licensing permission?

incidental music, dunno, it's a one off, and the organiser is the wife of a magistrate and one of the singers is a member of a licencing committee! however there was something on easter monday. It would be a brave official who stopped it, being for the RNLI and all, it is something very dear to the hearts of the VOTING public in scarborough! We shall be singing, a cappella, un amplified, sister in law will bring her hankies (she is Squire of east Coast Morris) if Richard and Jules dance all the way through our sets we will be okay! There you have it straight from the horses mouth! (who said 'o'ses don't talk!) besides it will be an inaugral practice of the Plough Inn Choir, but if people come in for a drink we will ask them not to listen, okay. seriously, I don't think Scarborough has a problem with music like this, they are desperately seeking visitors and encourage all entertainment. it seems like it's the miserable backwaters where officials have to be seen to be doing something to justify their wages, I know people who live in Rotherham but only 'cos they can't afford to buy a house in York! [ ;o) ]

I hope it goes well and you raise lot of money.

But of course you do need a licence to do that........

I will be on "North Yorkshire Folk" next wednesday, I think they may be playing a few of our tracks from a live gig we did a few weeks ago (the other half of the Carthy gig!) I shall be promoting the evening then.
