If Peter Jackson decided to make some folksongs into major box offices hits, who would you cast.

As Matty Groves is running at the moment here are my suggestions

Matty Groves- Johnny Depp
Lady Arnould- Catherine Zitta Jones
Lord Arnould- Brad Pitt
Serving Boy- Tom Cruise...

Blackwaterside: The Movie
(The one where "All through the far part of the night, We rolled in sport and play")

The girl: Halle Berry
The Irish Lad: Me

Well, why not? I'm not Irish, but I'd be a lot less bother than a proper actor. I wouldn't have to keep asking: "What's my motivation?"

Though, come to think of it, I don't know how long "the far part of the night" is. My missus would probably note that if it's longer than a couple of minutes, I'd probably need a stand-in.

With Halle Berry? Most blokes could muster up several takes over a couple of hours I'dve thought.

How about 'Navvy Boots' starring Tracey Temple & John Prescott?
