14 May 06 - 12:39 PM (#1740556) Subject: RE: Obit: Larry Sifel From: Bill D oh, sad news indeed. Larry used to exhibit at our local festival in Glen Echo, MD. I have an inlaid belt buckle he made of a dulcimer, done in Mother-of-Pearl with the strings & frets all carefully etched in. Larry was a good, pleasant, talented guy. Condolences to any family and friends who may read this. |

Larry did the exquisite inlays on two guitars of mine--a 1980 Gurian (with a modified Whyte Ladie pattern), and a custom-built Ovation 12-string. His attention to detail was unparalleled, and his patience with crazy musician equalled that of Job. He will be sorely missed. Caryl P. Weiss |
