Quite a funny mistake.
Was it also a mistake to put a link to your second post in your first post?

The clueless expert seems a simple extension of the well-established principle of the gormless presenter. TV companies now, having done the research, all apparently believe that in order to appeal to the stupid and ignorant viewer it is a great idea to have stupid and ignorant presenters, even on programmes of quite specialist interest.
I thought Mr Goma did rather well in this BBC interview actually, since he was apparently only in the building on cab-driving business and was a bit non-plussed to be asked about lawsuits and Apple computers.

Yes I heard a piece on this on Radio 4 the other day, absolutely hilarious.
Mind you I remember when they got Elvis Costello onto TV to interview him about Sid Vicious. He said to the interviewer on air, "I don't know why you've got me here to answer questions on a guy I never met" The interviewer then said they were both into the same music and he thought Elvis would have a view on it.
Guess which interviewer/researcher didn't know the difference between Punk and New Wave?
Remember the blow up photo of Jocky Wilson the fat Scottish darts player on Top of the Pops, instead of Jacky Wilson, when the song Jacky Wilson Says was in the hit parade?

Must have been a fault from your end, Keith.
The link always worked.

Dexy's Midnight Runners, John. Remember the incident well...

How ignorant of me.... Sorry Keith A, I forgot to say 'apology accepted', there in my last post.

You're welcome.

Yes, I know Keith..., and you naturally assumed....
We shall talk about perceived realities in greater depth at a later date, no doubt.

Did you like the little video, incidentally?

I thought it was very funny.

B.
Sorry Guys.....Just us clones cleaning things up that got you both confused....and me too.
