I feel that Mudcat friends would like to know this exceptional artist who was born and lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina, my country.
You will find him here:

Gabriel is one of the very few musicians in Argentina dedicated to the serious study of the Gospel and Country Blues, and a brilliant interpreter. From his site you can download many delightful samples in MP3.

He teaches harmony and stylistics to the director of the vocal ensamble where I sing, so he is transmitting his knowledge to the ensamble too.

Un abrazo - Andrés

Thanks for the information, Escamillo. With a name like Gabriel, you gotta be singing gospel... :-)

Do some of it, myself, and country blues, too.

Jerry

Hi, Kat and Rog! Next Wednesday our ensamble will sing at La Forja Restaurant/Show with the Black&Hot Band. Curiously, at 12 PM it will be the anniversary of the Independence, and we will sing the National Anthem (not in ragtime, though). At that time the wine will have made its effect and anything will be ok.

I´m glad to see that you and Jerry and Jude liked Gabriel's music, it is great ! He has performed all over the world and conducts instrumental and vocal groups too.

Un abrazo - Andrés
