If anyone is interested in trying to bring A Gary Moore Tour to the USA & Canada here is a website to sign the petition which will then be sent to his management. Please help us let Gary know how much we want to see him perform!

I never thought I'd see something like this on Mudcat, but way to go swloessy. I for one hope that your petition works. I've seen Moore with Thin Lizzy and with his own band and he was the best guitarist I've ever seen. If haven't seen the man in question then check this out

Believe it or not, Gary has been that good since he was about 15. He was with Brush Sheilds and Noel in (the original) Skid Row even before he was with Thin Lizzie. Marvelous speed and precision. As well as having an instantly ercognizable sound of his won, he's also one of the best guitar mimics I ever heard--sounding exactly like Peter Green, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, etc whenever he covers their songs. Bit of a folkie connection too as he did some stuff with Dr. Strangely Strange in the very early 70s.

Owes me six quid, too.

He could not afford the new taxes....legislation this week.

80K (US dollar) and he will be subject to feeding the poor, the restless, the discontent.

For the first time ever...third-world-nations are developing an alure.

Sincerely,
Gargoyle
