3 DAFT MONKEYS (http://www.3daftmonkeys.co.uk)
fRoots: "World influenced acoustic music, with a hint of the bizarre.
From Cornwall comes the innovative and exciting band 3 Daft Monkeys. Whether it's Celtic, Balkan, Gypsy, Spanish, Cornish or other World Music you are drawn to, you will hear it's influences in their self written music. Add to this the band's varied backgrounds from dance, dub, punk, reggae and traditional folk, and you have a stunning combination.
It's quirky, it's groovy, it's fun... we dare you not to dance!"

The band have been thrilling festival audiences in the last couple of years, and are returning to Cornwall from Knockengorroch World Music Festival in Scotland via the following little jaunt:

Wednesday May 24th, 7.30pm: Liverpool - The Pilgrim (0151 709 2302)
Thursday May 25th, 8.00pm: Glossop - Moon & Sixpence (01457 865203)
Friday May 26th, 8.00pm: Hebden Bridge - Trades Club (01422 845265)

The band are well worth catching if you can make it to any of these dates. Most of the gigs have supports and are either free or have nominal entry fees. Phone venues for details.

Okay,

One is G.W. Bush,
The second is Tony Blair,
But who's the third?
I've run out of daft monkeys!
