25 May 06 - 07:17 AM (#1747189) Subject: RE: BS: 2nd Test England V Sri Lanka From: Rasener 36 for 4 The dropped catches last time was IMHO one of those unusual occurances that sometimes happens and there is no rime or reason for it. I was always very good at catching, but occasionally you have a day when it all goes wrong. However for all the team to save it up for the same match is very unusual. |

25 May 06 - 07:45 AM (#1747206) Subject: RE: BS: 2nd Test England V Sri Lanka From: Rasener Once said by my captain to me about wicketkeeper laying flat on the floor with broken nose and blood pouring everywhere. "Next time he will make sure his hands are there first" I have to say the captain was bowling at the time, and the wicket keeper didn't take the catch. Hard hearted or not LOL. 57 for 5 How many runs will Sri Lanka make then in the first innings? My guess 350!!!! |

26 May 06 - 11:25 AM (#1747927) Subject: RE: BS: 2nd Test England V Sri Lanka From: John MacKenzie Face it guys the present England team is composed of one hit wonders, and people who are still living off last summer's Ashes win. Look at the last test, look at the eedjits they made of themselves in the sub-continent in the winter. Yes they have the makings of a good team, but they really need to get their act together, in their present form they would lose another Ashes series 5 nil. They have a history of persevering with people who are said to have promise, like Bell, and consistently don't pick good people because their faces don't fit like Tuffers! If you put aside the northern accents etc. the game still suffers from a degree of snobbishness in the management and selection department, and it needs to go! BTW I always support England at cricket, so I'm not being anti English. Giok |

28 May 06 - 04:47 AM (#1748907) Subject: RE: BS: 2nd Test England V Sri Lanka From: John MacKenzie Occasionally we do well in the game. And sometimes we produce good players, but as you see it's been a while. It was good to read that Geoffrey Boycott didn't like him, it confirms MD as an OK bloke in my book. I assume you heard some of GBs comments during the tour last winter. What a boring big headed bugger, he is!! Giok |

28 May 06 - 06:44 AM (#1748933) Subject: RE: BS: 2nd Test England V Sri Lanka From: Rasener I think the two most boring commentators are Geoffrey Boycott and Bob Willis (I think the only time he smiles is when he is breaking wind). |
