There are two new folk sites, brought to you via Western Kentucky University:

Malvina Reynolds: Song Lyrics, and Poems

Rapaire-

Thanks for pointing out this website. They've done a great job of setting it up. One can search for lyrics, find references to songs and recordings, and read some nice biographical notes.

Nowhere does there seem to be a recording of "Andorra" -- anyone know of one?

Hi, Peter - I thought Faith Petric had recorded "Andorra," but I couldn't find it on the three of her CD's that I own.
Not on the one Malvina CD that's out, and not on the Rosalie Sorrels collection of Malvina songs.
This discography seems to indicate that even Malvina may not have recorded it. Seems to me, though, that Faith sings it - and I think I may have first heard the song on a Pete Seeger recording, many years ago. My Secret Sources say it's on a Pete Seeger recording called The Bitter And The Sweet, and on one called Pete Seeger in Prague - hope you can find it.

Pete Seeger certainly recorded Andorra: I still have a copy on reel-to-reel, but nothing to say what the record was

Andorra is definitely on Pete's The Bitter and the Sweet LP, side 2, track 5. I also have a reel to reel recording of my husband, Mitch, singing it in a Wellington Folk Club concert in 1967!

Your "Andorra" questions are all answered at the above-mentioned new Malvina site (song not recorded by Malvina herself, but twice by Pete, also by Gerri Gribi & Annie Patterson) ... a visit HIGHLY recommended (be sure to check out unpublished poems).
